Blue Flag

In April, the Port of Budva initiated the application process for the Blue Flag Pilot Programme, reinforcing its commitment to environmental preservation and the implementation of the highest ecological standards.

During the pilot phase, a series of environmental activities will be implemented, focusing on improving seawater quality, managing resources responsibly, and raising awareness about the importance of protecting the natural environment.

The Blue Flag Programme represents one of the most prestigious international recognitions awarded to beaches, marinas, and ports that meet strict criteria in the following areas:

 • water quality
 • environmental protection
 • safety and services
  • environmental eductaion

By participating in this programme, Port of Budva further strengthens its position as a responsible and modern marina aligned with global sustainable development standards.
